Roehe’s PX66L Nice young senior buck - developing very well. He was 5th BJB at the day-after nationals show this spring and has done well in shows (no legs though since he could never beat my other broken buck that I'm keeping of course!). HOWEVER, he does have a borderline DQ - he has never been DQ'd for it at any time he has been shown (and he's been shown about 10 times), nor even a judge commenting on it, but since we've decided not to keep him (we have more broken bucks than we need), we would like to give him to someone who can use him. |

1. Unless other arrangements are made, rabbits will not be held without a deposit. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold rabbits. Rabbits will be considered available until the deposit is paid. The deposit is payable via PayPal or may be paid via another method only if agreed upon ahead of time.
2. Before placing a "hold" on a rabbit by paying a deposit, a pick-up date/time shall be agreed upon. If the rabbit is not picked up by that date, the deposit shall be forfeited and the rabbit will be placed back up for sale. If a buyer needs to pick up a rabbit after the original agreed-upon date, the buyer may contact us prior to the original pick-up date to attempt to make other arrangements. We may be able to make other arrangements if we have cage space to hold the rabbit for a longer period of time, however, the buyer may be charged an extra per-day fee to cover the additional feed/care for the rabbit for the extended stay.
3. Payment shall be made in full at or prior to the time of pick-up. With the exception of a few close and trusted friends, we're sorry, but "no money, no bunny". We prefer PayPal, Cash, Cashier's Check or Money Order. We will sometimes accept personal checks, however, we much prefer secured payment methods. If a buyer's personal check bounces, the buyer will be responsible for payment of the cost of the rabbit plus the bank charges for the returned check fee. Payment for NSF checks shall be made in the form of PayPal, Cash, Cashier's Check or Money Order.
4. Health guarantee. Because rabbits are fragile animals, problems can arise at any time for many reasons. Unless otherwise disclosed at the time of sale, we guarantee that the rabbit is healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale. However, we cannot guarantee that the rabbit will not pick up an illness, ailment or injury during its lifetime. We will not be held responsible for any veterinary/medical expenses.
5. Quality guarantee. Rabbits advertised for sale as show rabbits have been evaluated and to the best of our knowledge, have no show disqualifications at the time of advertising for sale (with the exception of junior animals which may not yet have attained minimum show weight). Rabbits advertised as breeding quality have been evaluated and to the best of our knowledge, have no disqualifications (except possibly being over or under the allowable show weights), unless otherwise disclosed. Rabbits advertised as pets may or may not have show disqualifications. We strongly encourage buyers to evaluate rabbits at the time of pick-up to ensure that there are no disqualifications that we may have missed in our evaluations. Once the buyer accepts the rabbit into their possession, whether they have looked over the rabbit themselves or not, the sale is considered final. We will not be held responsible for any disqualifications that appear after the time of sale.
6. Pedigrees. Unless otherwise stated, all rabbits we sell come with a full pedigree, completed to the best of our knowledge. Rabbits bred in our rabbitry prior to spring of 2006 will have a breeder prefix of "BBB's" and rabbits bred in our rabbitry after spring of 2006 will have the breeder prefix of "Roehe's". Please note that unlike some other species, the breeder prefix should remain the same as is printed on the original pedigree. It is poor etiquette to replace a breeder's prefix with that of your own. If you purchase a rabbit that is not named, you may append any name you wish to the breeder prefix on the rabbit. If you purchase a rabbit that is named, you may nickname the rabbit anything you wish, however, please leave the breeder prefix and rabbit's name as it is on the pedigree for purposes of creating pedigrees of subsequent generations.
7. By purchasing a rabbit from us, you agree to abide by the terms of this sales policy.
We do occasionally ship show or breeding stock on a case-by-case basis. Unfortunately, we do not always have the time to ship rabbits or the cage space to hold rabbits for shipment.
We do not ship pet rabbits. We only sell pet rabbits locally or at shows that we attend.
We do not ship to destinations outside of the United States.
We only ship rabbits when the total cost of the rabbits (before shipping) is $400 or more. Shipping costs (airfare, vet health certificates, carrier and accessories) is not included in the price of the rabbits. Keep in mind that whether shipping one rabbit or several, the total shipping cost is approximately the same, so it is much more cost-efficient to ship several rabbits at one time.
We ship rabbits out of the Phoenix, AZ airport. The buyer is responsible for making and paying for all shipping arrangements after prior consultation with us to ensure that the arrangements fit into our schedule. For us, the airport is approximately a 4 hour round-trip drive and the health certificate vet is a 1.5 hour round-trip drive. In addition to caring for and showing the rabbits, we also hold full-time jobs and have families, so we are limited on time as to the days we are able to ship rabbits.
Several airlines ship rabbits out of the Phoenix airport. We recommend Frontier Airlines cargo, as we have found them to be the most inexpensive. Most airlines will only allow shipments when the temperature is below 80 degrees at the time of the flight departure. Since Phoenix is one of the hottest airports in the country, it is very difficult to ship rabbits during the summer months (May-September).
